At 803 Outpost Coffee, our mission is rooted in stewardshipânot just of the land, but of the people who nurture it. This March, in honor of Womenâs History Month, we are proud to feature a coffee that represents a fundamental shift in the industry: Peru CafĂ© Femenino.
As a brand dedicated to purposeful living and reforestation, we recognize that the strongest ecosystems are built on equity. For too long, the women who do the heavy lifting at coffee origins were excluded from the economic rewards. This month, we celebrate the leaders who changed the narrative.
The women of the CECANOR cooperative are the original architects of the Café Femenino movement. Historically, while women were the backbone of Peruvian coffee farms, they held little to no economic power. In 2004, 464 courageous female producers stood together to claim their seats at the table, forming the first all-female co-op.
Today, these women aren't just harvesting cherries; they are business owners, decision-makers, and mentors. They are ensuring that the next generationâtheir daughters and granddaughtersâgrows up in a world where leadership is their birthright. By choosing this roast, you are directly supporting a supply chain that empowers women from farm to founder.
True to our roast-to-order philosophy, this Peruvian specialty-grade selection is roasted only after you hit "order" to ensure the aromatics are as vibrant as the story behind them. It is a medium roast designed for the backcountry and the breakfast table alike.
How fresh is your coffee?
We roast every batch after you order â never before. Nothing sits on shelves. Your coffee is roasted, packed, and shipped at peak freshness so you taste the full flavor the farmer intended.
Where do your beans come from?
We source specialtyâgrade, ethically grown coffee from small farms and cooperatives around the world. Every origin is chosen for flavor, sustainability, and the story behind the land.
What grind should I choose?
Whole bean gives you the freshest cup, but if you choose ground, we grind specifically for your brew method so you get the perfect extraction every time.
Do you offer subscriptions?
Yes â our subscription delivers fresh coffee on your schedule. You can pause, skip, or cancel anytime. No commitments, just consistently fresh coffee.

We use the Swiss WaterÂź Process â a 100% chemicalâfree method that removes caffeine while preserving flavor. No solvents, no harsh chemicals, just clean decaf.
Does your decaf still taste like real coffee?
Yes. Because we use specialtyâgrade beans and a gentle decaffeination process, our decaf keeps its natural sweetness, body, and tasting notes.
Is your decaf safe for sensitive drinkers?
Absolutely. Swiss WaterÂź Process decaf is ideal for anyone avoiding chemicals or looking for a clean, smooth cup without caffeine.

Weâre a small, husbandâandâwife team who love the outdoors, adventure, and great coffee. Our brand was born from our time on the Appalachian Trail and our belief that coffee should connect people to the wild places it comes from.

Are your pods fresher than storeâbought brands?
Absolutely. Most pods sit in warehouses for months. Ours are roasted after you order, then ground and packed immediately for maximum flavor and aroma.
Are your pods compatible with my machine?
Yes â our pods work with all standard KeurigÂź and KâCupÂź style brewers.
Are your pods recyclable?
Yes. Our pods use recyclable materials. Simply let them cool, remove the lid and grounds, and recycle the cup where facilities exist.
Do freshâroasted pods really taste different?
They do. Fresh coffee has brighter flavor, richer aroma, and a cleaner finish. Once you taste freshâroasted pods, itâs hard to go back to stale, massâproduced ones.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. Youâll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, weâll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods, custom products (such as special orders or personalized items). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. Youâll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Refunds
We will notify you once weâve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, youâll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
